Redesigning how millions see prices
A color-only sale price was failing millions of Walmart customers daily. I redesigned it across three platforms.

Making membership accessible to everyone
Walmart+ needed a signup flow that converted at scale without leaving anyone behind. Signups increased 30%.

Building the tools that scale accessibility
Designing three AI-powered platforms at Allyant from the ground up.
About Michael
Engineer turned designer.
Designer turned advocate.
Building software taught me how to ship. One hospital project taught me why it matters.
How I got here
I spent 15 years running a UX design and development consultancy — React, TypeScript, Figma, production code — shipping for 50+ clients across healthcare, e-commerce, and education. Then I consulted for Netflix, Nike, Disney, and Pinterest at Level Access. I’m equally comfortable in Figma and a codebase because I’ve spent years on both sides.
The turning point
I built a patient portal at a hospital and watched people struggle to use what I’d helped create. Forms they couldn’t navigate. Information they couldn’t reach. That moment changed how I think about every design decision.
The mission
Since then I’ve built Walmart’s accessibility program from scratch, trained engineering teams at scale, led disability community research through Fable, and directed a GenAI initiative that dramatically reduced accessibility violations. Now I design AI-powered platforms at Allyant.
